About Our Church

Our Mission

We are a church called by the Name of Jesus, committed to proclaiming the gospel, exalting the Lord Jesus Christ, and making disciples according to the pattern established in the book of Acts. We endeavor to be a New Testament church where people can experience biblical salvation, the infilling of the Holy Ghost, heartfelt worship, and the transforming power of God.

We believe Jesus is still saving, filling believers with the Holy Ghost, healing, restoring, and calling people into His kingdom today. Our desire is to help every person know Him, obey His Word, grow in His grace, and become a witness of His power to the world.

Our services are worshipful, prayer-focused, and sensitive to the moving of the Holy Ghost. We believe God still transforms lives, answers prayer, heals hearts, and fills believers with His Spirit. We seek to follow the biblical pattern of the New Testament church through worship, prayer, preaching, and obedience to the work of the Holy Ghost, creating an atmosphere where people can encounter God's presence, hear His Word, and respond to His calling.

What We Believe

Our Biblical Foundation

Jesus Christ Above All

Jesus Christ is the foundation, focus, and purpose of everything we do. We believe that all authority, salvation, hope, and life are found in Him. Our desire is to glorify His Name, reflect His character, and make Him known in our homes, our community, and throughout the world.

Biblical Truth

We believe the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God and the final authority for faith and practice. We endeavor to study and teach Scripture "line upon line, precept upon precept" (Isaiah 28:10), allowing God's Word to shape our doctrine, convictions, and daily lives.

New Testament Doctrine

We are committed to the doctrine established by Jesus Christ and preached by His apostles. Following the example of the early church, we seek to continue steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayers (Acts 2:42), holding firmly to the truth revealed in God's Word.

Worship in Spirit and Truth

As Jesus taught, true worship is offered "in spirit and in truth" (John 4:23-24). Through prayer, praise, and obedience to God's Word, we seek to create an atmosphere where the Holy Ghost can move freely and lives can be changed by the presence of God.

Compassionate Community

We strive to demonstrate the love of Christ through genuine fellowship, encouragement, and service. We believe the church is more than a gathering place; it is a family of believers united in faith, growing together in Christ.

Discipleship

Salvation is the beginning of a lifelong walk with God. We are committed to helping believers grow in spiritual maturity through prayer, Bible study, faithful living, and active participation in the Kingdom of God.

Mission and Outreach

We are called to carry the gospel of Jesus Christ to our community and beyond. Through evangelism, outreach, missions, and personal witness, we seek to share the hope, truth, and saving power found in the Name of Jesus.

Greetings in the precious name of Jesus!

Welcome to Calvary Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. We are honored that you have taken the time to learn more about our church.

At Calvary, we are passionate about preaching the gospel, exalting the name of Jesus, and proclaiming the unchanging truth of God's Word.

We believe the same gospel preached by the apostles is still changing lives today, and that Jesus is still saving, restoring, and filling believers with the Holy Ghost. Because His power has not changed, we believe there is still hope for the hurting, healing for the broken, and salvation for all who call upon the Name of Jesus at Calvary.

Our services are centered on worship, prayer, the preaching of God's Word, and the moving of the Holy Ghost. We rejoice in what God has done, and we are equally excited about what He is still doing today.

Sunday School

All Ages · Sundays at 9:00 AM

We believe children are a precious gift from God, and we are committed to helping them learn and grow in Him. At Calvary, we welcome children of all ages to learn and grow together in God's Word. Our Sunday School ministry is dedicated to teaching children the truth of God's Word in a way they can understand and enjoy. Through Bible lessons, hands-on activities, and fellowship, children learn about Jesus, His love, and His plan for their lives. We strive to provide a nurturing environment where young hearts can grow in faith, develop a love for God's Word, and build a faith that will guide them throughout their lives.

Youth Ministry

6th - 12th Grade

PLACEHOLDER: A place for students to build real friendships, dig into God's Word, and grow in their walk with Christ through weekly gatherings, worship, and fellowship events.
